ABOUT THE EVENT:

Mara Williams, author of The Little Books of Big Business series, is excited to bring her book to life in this spooky and unforgettable Halloween event!

In Mara's first book, "Cat Casey Turns Brownies into a Business", young Cat uses her grandmother's brownie recipe to start a business, learning about cost of goods sold, mass production, and making a profit! Cat is able to put her skills to work as she prepares for the town's Halloween Spooktacular, which is exactly what BLOS is going to replicate! We're even going to have Cat's special brownies!!!!

As an attendee, you will explore 20 different "storefronts", judge which one is your fave, and enjoy and evening of holiday fun, dinner, networking, and TRICK-OR-TREATING (cause when was the last time you got to do that as an adult?? And I promise you, these treats will be better than sugar!)

**Come "dressed as your business character" (ie. If you are a travel agent, come dressed in your best vacation attire. If you are a real estate agent, come dressed as a house...ahhh, got you! Just kidding!)..but again, time to get creative! 

HOW TO BECOME A STOREFRONT:

1) On a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis (this is where you MUST BE A MEMBER), we will have 20 spots available for you to host your very own storefront! Perfectly ideal for (but not limited to) those of us who do not have a traditional brick and mortar and are ready to share our window creativity! 

***We will even be having a contest for the BEST WINDOW IN TOWN!**. 

2)  It is $25 to become a SPOOKTACULAR VENDOR, which will cover 50% of the cost of the charming 54" Black and White Striped Awning Tabletop Hut with frame that you will receive as a your base for your storefront (this awning will be placed on top of a 6 ft table, which you will need to supply)! Again, this is your time to go all out and get creative...think Trunk-or-Treat status, but in a small storefront!!!

3) As a vendor you will be handing out "treats" ( and when we say "treats", we actually mean swag and fun stuff having to do with your product or service to further your business!- no, it doesn't have to be expensive, but have fun with it...we usally get between 35-45 attendees.)

4) Participants will be walking around to each vendor so you will have ample and fair exposure from all! We are really treating this like a night of "window shopping"...

5) Speaking of shopping, if you can fit product in your space, you absolutely will be able to sell that evening!!!

6) We strongly encourage (that's just a nice way of saying "you really need to be there or watch the recording to participate or we will give your spot to a waitlister ;-) ) to participate in a short 30 minute Zoom meeting with Mara and Jessica on 9/23 at 8:15pm to go over details and answer any questions.
